Work of AnnaSudha Community Kitchens Recognized by Del. Maldonado

Delegate Michelle Maldonado released a statement in support of AnnaSudha Community Kitchens, as part of a greater effort to generate awareness of the kitchen as a community resource. The organization states that its mission is "to fight hunger and loneliness [as] the two biggest dangers facing fellow human beings in our community."

"As someone who experienced food insecurity, housing insecurity in my elementary years, this touches me personally and deeply," Maldonado stated. "No one should go hungry, no one should wonder how to feed their children and whether they have food in their bellies when they go to bed at night."
