Del. Maldonado Speaks on HB692 at "Scam Jam"

Del. Michelle Maldonado spoke at the annual "Scam Jam" on Friday, sharing insights on AI as well as how to avoid elder financial fraud. The event, which is sponsored by the Prince William Area Agency on Aging and AARP, was hosted in Woodbridge for members of local communities who are 50 and older.

Attendee learned how to spot scams, received tips from the FBI, and heard how artificial intelligence is enabling more fraud. Maldonado took the opportunity to explain the components of her "Larry's Law" bill (HB692), and described the morning's information sessions as "a great, informative community event."
